The Ligurian Alps and the sea: summits that touch 2700m whitened for most of the year, and crystal deep waters ploughed
by dolphins. These are the limits of our land.
In the middle the green of the forests, the rolling hills and the babbling brooks; the slate-roofed villages, seeped in history
and traditional ways, just waiting to bere-discovered.
An adventure that every one of us can live in our own way: with a pair of walking boots, following the track to the top of
Mongioie, with a mountain bike pedalling through the olive-groves of the Imperia hills, with a diving suit exploring the
canyons of Valle Argentina and Arroscia, or even …climbing one of the Val Tanaro’s limestone faces, diving in the depths of
the Marguareis Massif’s caves, or gliding across the snow of Monesi, the last family-run skiing resort in Liguria and home
to Ligurian free-riders.
Not surprisingly seeing far-off Corsica from Monte Saccarello on a clear day, lost in the blue of the sea and to the north,
Monviso towering with its 3800 metres.
That’s why this is our extraordinary land.
